I occasionally see warnings related to the i915 module (see attached dmesg).
This looks very similar to this bug here:

The problem does however occur with a more recent 4.14.4 kernel. The related
bug is marked as fixed. Please close this if the fix didn't make it into 4.14.4
yet.
