I have a similar laptop (Precision 5520), and had the exact same issue.
When I disconnected my WD15 dock (which has an external monitor connected) and
reconnected it, everything was hanging, and I had a black screen and same
errors.
I tried drm-tip yesterday, and this fixed my issue.
Could you maby try drm-tip? Cause it seems like some recent commit fixed this
problem!</pre>
