paging request stack
Running a Lenovo T570 with Intel HD Graphics 520 I get a kernel panic due to a
kernel paging request.
This usually happens when Firefox or Chrome and a terminal window
(xfce-terminal) is open. I could be compiling or could be doing other command
line jobs when the system freezes. The attached log is after I enabled
VGA_SWITCHEROO=y. With VGA_SWITCHEROO=n, I get a null pointer. Stack trace will
be attached shortly. I believe these are the same issue.
I have used the same Linux build on a T540p with an Intel 4th Gen Core
Integrated Graphics with no issues.
This has not happen so far with 4.14.14</pre>
