This file was created by running "ffmpeg -i MINI0001.MOV -t 2 -acodec copy -vcodec copy test2s.mov" and triggers the same gpu hang for me. I start vlc from a terminal: vlc test2s.mov. This brings up the vlc gui but no frame of the video is ever displayed.
