<pre>I don't think so. The underlying kernel bug still exists, although the
xf86-video-intel driver bug has been fixed. (See comments 45 and 10-11.)
Though, if you think that the kernel bug deserves its own bug, rather than a
bug report for the sympton I can do that, but I think it should stay with the
data here.</pre>
