As I've been asked by a few people, I've put the repo up at GitHub. The exact
change I applied to intel_hdmi.c is at [1], and you can build a kernel image
right from the 4.15.0-21.22-glktesting branch (see [2]).
NB: Whenever something gets added to this issue, I'll keep on adding that to
that branch for testing purposes.
