Now I'm confused about which parts of DisplayPort over USB Type-C are expected to work out-of-the-box on Linux today. I thought, maybe too quickly, that getting the 640x480 resolution working was a good sign that most pieces for DisplayPort Alternate Mode were already in place, but that may not be that simple... I'll follow the continued progress on that topic and I'll be happy to test and provide feedback on the results I get with the HP Lad Dock, once it makes sense to give it another try.
