<pre>The correct solution for this issue is to set panel_type=0 from <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=94338#c21">comment #21</a> or
the attached patch. The BIOS is giving the driver the incorrect information and
you will need to force the driver to use panel_type 0.</pre>
