Only if it is an MST device. Otherwise you should at least be able to try it.
It may not work in practice though on account of crappy DDC/CI implementation
in the monitor. At least one monitor where I tried it didn't like the default
100 kHz bus speed and so bunch of things randomly failed until I lowered the
bus speed significantly.</pre>
