I moved to kernel `Linux 4.20.6-042006-generic` and use `i915.fastboot=1` in my grub options but ubuntu 18.04 still flickers when it wakes up after lock or sleep. The above options do prevent it from flickering from the start but only after it has once gone to sleep (display turned off). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
