<pre>Ah, I have to clarify: the only way I am able to blacklist i915 is through
module_blacklist=i915. Using any other way like modprobe config `blacklist
i915` or `install i915 /bin/false` and even blacklisting its dependencies
doesn't work at all. `modprobe i915` after boot with module_blacklist=i915
errors out which is likely caused by this:
