Looks like I got some additional clue of what can be the reason. I have
discovered that if I disable part of DSI initilizations in i915 driver(mainly
pll divisor init), touching those GPIO pins doesn't harm anymore.
Which might mean that it is simply some configuring issue and once we do
reset/power on, those wrong values are taken into use. If we don't modify those
then they stay the way as set by BIOS.
Just figured this out, have to leave now. Will continue tommorrow.</pre>
