<pre>The Xserver logs report the link status as BAD because the kernel sends a
uevent reporting this as soon as the link training fails or its unable to link
train.
The aux timeouts that we have seen previously in case of eDP panels could be
because the panel is not really ON when we try to link train and that can
happen because the panel power cycle delay is not long enough.
Could you please try the attached patch that increases the panel power cycle
delay to see if that fixes the issue and also send a dmesg log with drm.debug =
0xe?
