I backported this to 5.3.7 (attached) and yeah, it does fix the issue. I
disagree with the patch description, though: the function is definitely being
called with enable_guc=-1, otherwise I wouldn't need this fix.

(And it does seem a bit weird to skip resume but not skip suspend, but I have
no idea what this non-free blobby whatever does, so I guess I'll leave that up
to you guys.)</pre>
