[PATCH 1/2] drm/i915: call i915_init_ggtt() earlier for DSB

Tue Nov 24 16:15:51 UTC 2020

DSB tries to GGTT pin objects in the _nogem part of the display init
code, which is done before we call i915_init_ggtt(). Pretty scary, but
even worse is that the object is released in a worker which can fire at
the same time that as we call i915_init_ggtt(), which in turn does all
kinds of delicate drm_mm GGTT operations without any locking, giving us
all kinds of nasty uaf's if the timing is just right(especially on DG1
for some reason).
