Yeah, hopefully we can rework that change quickly.  Still have to talk with 
Carl about it...

No, that's new to me, it works on my t61.  Are you using kernel modules that 
support GEM as well?  Or do you see trouble with just the stock kernel (e.g. 
2.6.27-rc1)?
