This is the same as https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14131, which
(correctly) says that newer X server is needed. However, the documentation
doesn't reflect this fact, and configure doesn't bail out with old Xorg (and, if
old Xorg is unsupported and known to fail, then it should bail out). Should I
reopen the bug for this request of documentation + configure script change?
