[Intel-gfx] The current git head is much slower?

Hello,

using gtkperf tool, I noticed that on my system, the current git head of the
driver passes the test in 20-22 secs while the driver up to this commit:
5c9a62a29f62a9ecce37fae98cb01f8217eaba15 (excluding)
passes the test in 7.8secs. 

Moreover, the current git head emits about 300-400 IRQs per second, which is
not what I'd like to see.
