[Intel-gfx] I can has cherry pick Gx4 AGP fixes?

In the description of commit #1 (below) it says "This update requires a corresponding update to xf86-video-intel to work
correctly".

QUESTION 1)
It is correct that this "corresponding xf86-intel change" is in fact commit #2 (below)?

QUESTION 2)
G45 seems to work fine with just the AGP patch so the xf86-intel patch is really only required for GM45 right?

QUESTION 3)
Can you think of any reason why it would be a bad idea to cherry pick these two commits for intrepid?
Intrepid will ship with 2.4.1 of xf85-intel. With my G45 board adding the AGP patch onto the intrepid intel
driver works perfectly but I just wanted to check. Since it's very late in the cycle so I'm not at all sure
they would/should take those patches but I'm going to ask.
