[Intel-gfx] XV regression in 2.4.x

Hi folks,
since I switched from 2.3 to 2.4 on my ThinkPad X61s with i965
graphics, I sometimes get hard crashes of the Xserver when starting to
play a video, or switch from window to fullscreen.
I now analyzed this a bit with version 2.3.2 compared to 2.4.2 with the
same kernel. It seems to be related to suspend and only happened with
the 2.4 driver after a suspend cycle. When it happens, the display gets
solid green or white, and after a while the server seems to crash and
is restarted, but this display isn't restored. I can use ctrl+shift+F1
and ctrl+alt+del and reboot to restore the display.
This happens with kernel 2.6.26.2, but also with earlier kernels. I use
the video overlay XV port to play video.
Any hints what might cause this? Any git commit that I could try to
revert?
I'll also give the 2.5-pre version a test and see if it still happens.
Regards,
Tino
