Like the other responder, working fine on my x86_64 and GMA X3100
(Dell D630). Using 2.6.31-rc5 kernel.

In addition to which kernel you are using, are you using KMS (kernel
mode-setting)? While the old type of mode-setting is supported, KMS is
anyway more tested. Just a guess.
