I was thinking of trying to backport it to 2.6.24 since that is what
Mythbuntu (based on) Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS uses.  A know a lot of
people bought Asus P5E-VM's around the time that Mythbuntu was
released and built up MythTV boxes.

Do you know of any issues that would make this back-port non-trivial?
