For me when I boot into 2.6.28 my 3D performance dies (at least in
compiz). I've asked on the xorg mailing list but got no reply here.
Unlike yourself tho', 2.6.27 is fine. (also I'm using xserver 1.5.99.3+,
mesa snapshot and latest libdrm, and latest intel 2.5.99.1 so this could
all be totally unrelated!)
