I'm not too sure how to respond to this, Hanno. You've hardly
established a pattern if ignoring bugs here (just one bug that you
filed a little over a week ago that I haven't had a chance to look at
yet). In fact, we have quantitative evidence of bug responsiveness,
especially over the past few months: over 400 bugs resolved! I'd say
that especially impressive given that our developers (myself included)
split their time between bug fixing and other work on various projects.

And as you pointed out in your followup, sometimes we fix reported bugs
outside of the bug reporting system, and so will go through our lists
and ask for a re-test periodically if something in the problem area
changed recently.

On the other hand, I can certainly understand your frustration. The
most important bug is always the one you just filed that's keeping you
from doing something you want to do, and that frustration is directly
proportional to the bug fix latency. All I can say is we're working
hard to improve the driver, and not ignoring bugs as a matter of policy!
