Hi Andre,

thanks for your reply and sorry for replying so late.

Maybe it's the same issue, but loading 'fbcon' module did not change anything for me e.g. the screen keeps off, unless I startx and then I can see XFCE loading for less than 2 seconds because of the intel driver crash.

Activating the console (someway) would help me a lot at debugging the 2nd issue (the intel driver crash), since I want to help developers with that. Also, I cannot boot with KMS enabled and use the old working intel driver, only combinations are KMS+new_intel_driver or 'nomodeset'+old_intel_driver.

There's to say that console (a non-framebuffer default console, I guess) is displayed until DBUS/HAL are started.
