Interestingly, I do... Here's after booting without KMS enabled:

It's worth noting here that X decided to use the advertised 1080i
mode, though the TV acts like it's getting a signal it can't
interpret (I'm running xrandr via an SSH connection for the above).
I rebooted each way a couple times to make sure I was getting
consistent behavior.

I won't even go into the hoops I used to jump through getting X to
use this display with other drivers in years past. Suffice to say
this is a breath of fresh air by comparison.
