Attached is a backport of cf74ecbbff3e3b45bae61d28d2220f74d853e2f0 that 
applies to 2.6.32 and should go to stable. Fixes 
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14781 ("181a533 is causing 
severe screen flickering on 965GM"), also noted in the "2.6.31 -> 2.6.32 
Sound and video regressions" LKML thread.
