Well I dont understand now; these lines show that something is detected 
as connected:

[drm:drm_helper_probe_single_connector_modes], VGA-1

[drm:drm_mode_debug_printmodeline], Modeline 39:"1280x1024" 60 108000 1280 1328 1440 1688 1024 1025 1028 1066 0x48 0x5  ......

So it is, IMHO, a different bug than the one I talked about.
