quick question:
What is the difference between a kernel called: drm-intel
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-intel-next/

and the normal kernel
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

Could I pick up this kernel http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.35-rc1-lucid/ or I should pick up one within the drm-intel directory?

you are correct it looks like this is part of 2.6.35.

I am just waiting for a ppa 2.6.35 Lucid kernel in order to test.

I was reading through the commits to drm-intel-next and lo and behold I saw:

this has been merged into 2.6.35:

so, please try 2.6.35-rc3 (or later)
