[Intel-gfx] version skew...or not?

Folks,

I am hoping to create an X.org-based OpenGL-capable client/server
Intel-based environment for a single address space/single name space
environment. That is to say: it's a non-Linux port of X and various related
software.

As a basis for this port, I have assembled the following pieces (where the
pieces are followed by their version #):
  mesa.7.6
  xorg-server-1.7.0
  xf86driproto-2.1.0
  xf86-video-intel-2.9.0
  dri2proto-2.1
  xf86driproto-2.1.0
  libdrm-2.4.14

For the GEM goodies, I am using the 2.6.32.8 Linux kernel as reference.

My question is: is this a good set of software or are some of these pieces
incompatible with other pieces? If I have incompatibilities, could you be so
kind to steer me to a more compatible set?

Thanks much.

bob
