[Intel-gfx] [OLD BUG] - [No one cares about it?]

While this seems to be an old (and very annoying:-) bug [1] [2], it seems
that (still) nothing has been done about it (yet?).
Please share any progress, tips or workarounds on it here, so I can try them
out, because this really decreases the usability of my laptop...

P.S. This bug seems to be similar to one found in ATI earlier - [3].
