If you are using eDP, you might be facing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42263 or
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42278.

Could you try with patch mentioned at
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42263 reverted?
