Down to 5 patches, rebased on top of today's dinq and with changes requested by Daniel. This series is activated through the i915.fastboot=1 boot argument, and works here on my SNB laptop. We still have some prettying of userspace to do, but at least we avoid the panel power sequence so things are faster. Thanks, Jesse
