It's i915_dri.so from mesa that is broken. It is trying to use DRI3 and
dies. But the easiest way is probably just to disable DRI3 with

Section "Device"
  Identifier "intel"
  Option "DRI" "2"
EndSection

in xorg.conf (or /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/intel.conf)
