Hi,

This series is a bit of cleanup I had in mind for after the atomic
commit support (from Marius, Mayuresh and Pratik) had landed.

The atomic support introduced some redundancy in how we deal with
property ids, this can be simplified a bit.

And we're also missing some documentation.
