You could add a function in intel_color.c that returns the bit
precision.

In drm_color_lut_pack() we don't actually need the if there at all, it's
just for clarity and similarity with the extract. bit_precision == 16
leads to 0 shift.

And in drm_color_lut_match() err becomes 0 for 16-bit precision.
