I'm really wondering if we need this postfix in the first place.

If we use the right rcu_dereference_check() macro then those functions 
can be called with both the reservation object locked and unlocked. It 
shouldn't matter to them.

But getting rid of the _rcu postfix sounds like a good idea in general 
to me.
