Adding ad hoc intel_dp_late_compute_config() called from a rather random
place is not acceptable. See the full comments inline in my previous
reply.
This kind of conflates specifity and generality.
We already have encoder->compute_config_late() hooks. I don't have the
time to dig deep into this, and I don't know if you can do what you need
there. But you just can't add something that looks like "compute config
late", which is not called via that hook. It's misleading.
