Sorry, I have no idea how your distribution deals with core-dumps,
please consult the related manuals, or try the command I told you
earlier (ulimit -c unlimited). I can try to give you hints, but this
is really specific to your system.

Easiest way is to use ssh from a separate machine and run kmscon in
gdb (but never do that locally!).
