Hi Tom,

I'm also working on using LDTP to test QT apps running on Linux (Embedded linux : yocto builds) devices
Just like you, I was also able to get LDTP to run remotely :)
I'm willing to help contribute towards making LDTP better tests QT apps.

Best wishes,
Brownson

Hello all,

First off, please forgive me if this
ends up coming to folks at multiple addresses, I wasn't sure
about the status of the mailing list and so I CC'ed some of
the most recent specific email addresses.

I am working on testing a QT app
running on Ubuntu. We got LDTP running remotely which was
most tantalizing. :)

The problem is that we need to extend
some functionality to be able to access the visibility,
color and text properties for buttons and labels. I am in
the process of delving into the various LDTP documentation
(especially the "How to develop component functions for
LDTP") but was noticing a lack of recent activity on the
project.

1) When and if I get smart enough to
pose reasonable questions, is anyone still monitoring such
things?

2) Is there a better/newer/different
tool/project that replicates the LDTP work on QT/Ubuntu?

3) If I make these new functions, is
there a desire for me to get them incorporated into LDTP?

Thanks,
Tom Izard

Hi Tom,

I got busy with my other professional and personal activities, so could not
spend time with LDTP project. If there are any changes submitted through
github.com, I have no issues in pulling them.

Thanks
Nagappan
