[Libburn] i would like to have a description of writing cd burning software..urgent

Actually this is not a software, but this (libburn) code is useful to make the software. A simple explanation is that libburn is all the backend done, you only
need a UI for it. There are various projects which have started down this road
using libburn. Some that come to mind are coaster and Gnome CD Roast (IIRC).

If you have to write your own software on top of libburn, then there are few
places where you can find information, very developer oriented though. you can
check API docs (if there are any right now). But I think your best bet would
be to take a look at the library header files and figure it out (shouldn't be
TOO diffuclt)

If you need a already created software, might I suggest (at the risk of being
shot to death by fellow Gnome-ers) www.k3b.org.

There is also a command line program by the name cdrecord.
