Well if there are more people like me that are getting sick of all the
versions of writing programs (cdrecord, cdrecord pro dvd, dvdrtools
fork and dvd+rwtools) it might not be as  difficult as you think. I
would gladly trade in all of them for libburn :-) Provided there is a
reasonable working frontend.

The best thing would be to have an existing project like gnomebaker
use libburn as an optional backend. Are they interested?
