Hi Rabeeh, have you tried udlfb on hardware other than arm ?
I have tried a 710 mimo on an x86 and it worked flawlessly, probably
your edid problem is caused by the hardware.

In dmesg, what value you find in the line:

"ret control msg 0: %d %d" ?

after pluggin the mimo ?

If its a sheevaplug-only problem i can investigate it and found a
workaround.
