[Libdlo] tests give flickering vertical stripes on mimo

Hi,

"make check" and "test/test1" give a flicking vertical stripe effect on 
my mimo UM-710.

I'm not sure exactly what the tests are supposed to display, but I 
think I can guess what e.g. "random rectangles" means.  I think that I 
am seeing one row of the image replicated over all rows of the screen.  
And it flashes between two (similar?) images, probably at the frame rate.

I am a bit suspicious of this in the test output:

test: native mode info...
   800x480 @ 60 Hz 24 bpp base &0
test: set_mode...
test: mode info...
   1280x1024 @ 75 Hz 24 bpp base &0

Does that mean it's trying to do 1280x1024, even though it knows it is 
an 800x480 device?

Any ideas?
