Following this commit is a second commit which tightens matching
further to include interface subclass and protocol.

Changes have been tested on the (limited) set of devices I have here,
but further tests of the latest on git.plugable.com are welcome. Let
us know if anything is amiss. If all's well, we'll push this
downstream.
