Hi Max,
That's kmalloc of the shadow framebuffer failing (which happens on
Centos/RedHat kernels on large allocations).
If you grab what's in /drivers/staging/udlfb of the linux-next kernel tree
(which is what is going into 2.6.34), or the latest from
http://git.plugable.com/ you won't see that particular problem as vmalloc is
used instead, and also the driver should be able to survive without a shadow
buffer.
