[Libdlo] what displaylink device should i buy and what steps are still needed?

Thank you for the good information. I gave it a good first shot today.
However I got a segmentation fault. I tried to make a how to for it, and
attached all my steps in this mail.
Would somebody be willing to check the attachment and see what goes wrong?
I am capable of doing advanced configurations and debugging, but I don't
have much time for it, that is why I am so keen on making it just work
with little time consuming steps.
