The Seagate Dockstar is a little USB hard drive dock with a gigabit
ethernet jack and 4 USB2.0 ports. As it has similar hardware to a Pogoplug
(Marvell Sheeva ARM CPU @ 1.2Ghz) it can easily be reinstalled with Debian
Linux (see http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/ ). These little computers can be
found online for as little as $20 and they run off a 12v wall wart so they
might make interesting carputer projects.

I posted details of the steps I took on the debian dockstar
forum<http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,2073>.
