Just a note on this. Just bought a lenovo T560 with an EF7455
build in. I took the last qmi-over-mbin branch of libmbim, libqmi
and modemmanager from git, build debian packages and installed it. There
is some progress because nm-applet at least says 'Searching ...'
but cannot establish a connection.

I'm pretty sure this is too much info to be actually helpfull, but
if somebody can tell me how to do some specific debugging I'd be
more the happy.
