Are they on their way in as an official part of Fedora?

And if anyone is interested, I am working on packages for Debian here
(should be in a working state now, else please file issues at Github or my
e-mail):

https://github.com/mkotsbak/libqmi-deb (to build, clone and run
"mk-build-deps -i && debuild").
